I’m Kellie Hoffmann, based in South Australia and the creative mind behind K H Artworks. I specialise in pastel pencil, watercolour, and acrylic/oil paints, creating vibrant artworks that include captivating large-scale murals. Alongside my traditional art skills, I’ve taught myself digital art and graphic design using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and developed my skills in photography and videography over the past seven years. My art often explores themes of animals and the environment.

G’day! I’m Kellie Hoffmann, the creative mind behind K H Artworks, based in South Australia. Growing up in Loxton, I fell in love with art from a young age, starting with crafts and later diving into painting, especially with oils and watercolours. After studying Visual Arts at the University of South Australia (and having a blast in Canada for a semester!), I found my niche in realistic art, where capturing every tiny detail became my obsession.
I specialise in painting but dabble happily in watercolours, pastels, and pen illustrations. My portfolio includes a diverse range of work, from cherished pet portraits to pieces that explore environmental themes affecting wildlife. I’ve also undertaken mural work, creating vibrant artworks for local businesses and community spaces, as well as illustrations and graphic design projects.
Alongside painting, I’ve spent the last seven years teaching myself photography and videography. It’s been a journey of capturing stories visually and sharing them across different platforms.
You might have seen my work at fancy places like Bowerbird and OmMade Meet the Maker, where I’ve exhibited and sold my art, or around town on murals I’ve created for local businesses and community spaces. Currently, I’m blending my creative talents with graphic design and social media at Beyond Bouldering, where I get to play around with Adobe Suite and WordPress to tell compelling visual stories.
